My aim is a simple one. To return you back to how you felt before your discomfort made you visit this website.

As we get that bit older, experience tells us that pain will become part of our lives at some point.

Many tolerate it with extreme cheerfulness and some don't. Whether it's a sore back, neck or a headache, the issues really begin when it starts to affect your decision making. 'I can't do that because...'
My belief is that it doesn't have to be this way.

Over many years as an Osteopath in Overton, I have developed a way of treating pain that combines manipulation, massage and dry needling (more commonly known as acupuncture) to relieve symptoms fast, often in one visit.

My reputation is based on this philosophy, to undertake the minimum number of treatments needed to return you back to your best.

Ian Harrison

DAIR. DO. MSc
Osteopath, Acupuncturist & Radiographer

I have been living, playing sport, bringing up a family, and supporting the wonderful community of Overton since 1992. As an Osteopath, I opened my first clinic on the High Street in 1999 and have been working in Hampshire ever since.  The practice I started grew to one of the biggest in the country with three separate sites and in 2016, we were voted the Practice of the Year for the whole of the UK!

In 2020 I decided to work independently again from my home in the village and hope to continue to support you with the same care and professionalism.

In addition to my private practice I see patients, as part of the NHS Oncology service, at the Wellbeing Centre at the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital. Our team helps reduce the symptoms associated with their cancer and associated treatments. The service is funded by the Ark Cancer Charity of which I am a trustee.

Passing on knowledge is important. I have lectured at the London School of Osteopathy for over 27 years and speaks locally at various interest groups and meeting.

Prior to my Osteopathy career I was a Diagnostic Radiographer and have a Masters degree in Evidence Based Health Care from Oxford University.
